Bredonborough.
An exceptionally busy night of the frustrating-live-performance variety. Solo Soundscapes in a church with Tom of Chaos Security to hand, and myself having taken a walk to escape considerable difficulties with the organisers; unable to find the church on returning-walk. Fortunately, while wandering the various streets roughly in the direction of the church-venue, I came across the cottage where Bert Lams lived. Well.
It was a great relief to wake up. Perhaps, you can take the traveling-player out of the traveling, but not the traveling out of the player?
Non-academic morning-reading of an English variety in the home study I…

A Sunday morning is a privileged time when, usually, I give myself permission to enjoy the vibrant colours of this Study Library, to offset the relentless grey & cold of winter. Reflecting associationally over the period of my life & its stages; continuing to observe the changes & being accepting of them. I have noticed one particular changing strategy, evidenced in various small-but-significant matters last week in Sant Cugat, where there were several firsts and none of these involve loss. This, a direct result of no longer being available to put bags at the front door in quick order. WillyFred might claim that bags continue to be placed there not only regularly, but frequently. But WillyFred does not quite see my inside, although perhaps he senses it.
12.17 A call from the Minx, about to leave for Belfast airport & fly home to her boys.
